FirstListen connects musicians with the music-industry professionals looking for them. These guidelines explain what we expect from everyone here, alongside our Terms of Service. If the two ever differ, the Terms apply.
Be respectful
No harassment, bullying, threats or hate, in messages or anywhere on a profile. Treat every musician and industry professional the way you would want to be treated.
Be who you say you are
Use your own identity and keep one account. Don't pretend to be someone else, or misstate your company, label or the artists you work with.
Keep it appropriate
No sexual content, nudity, or anything that sexualizes a person. Some musicians on FirstListen are under 18.
Keep it about music
Upload your own music. If a track is a cover, mark it as a cover. No spam, advertising, chain messages or promotion of other businesses.
Respect privacy and ownership
Don't share anyone's personal information without their permission. Only upload music you have the right to share. To report a copyright problem, use Report a copyright issue in the app.
Keep it honest and safe
Nothing illegal, false or misleading. Don't try to harm FirstListen or anyone's device, and don't scrape or automate the app.
If something's wrong, report it
Report a profile, track or conversation from the app, or email support@firstlisten.live. We review every report, and we may remove content, warn, suspend or close an account that breaks these guidelines.
